I have been enrolled in the “mbc” program for a little over a week and I must say that I was nervous going into the process of enrolling but everyone that I have talked to has made the process so easy. I started NCC last Tuesday, I already feel comfortable and feel like they are family now. You can pull your feelings out and they listen, you can ask for help and they are coming to help. I even told them I fight with dyslexia and no judgment from them at all. This school is like being around kind people I use not ever meet before and my life. Scott is absolutely amazing! Scott was not my original financial advisor. My mother is going to school at the same time as me and is a previous graduate and Scott is her advisor , and she mentioned to him that I was having issues with my financial aid, so she sent his info to me. I contacted him regarding the issues, and he fixed everything for me! Now I’m getting the maximum Pell grant offered when I originally was going to get nothing. I’m thankful for Scott and the school for being able to get everything set up and fixed for me to start school in April. Scott is hands down the nicest guy I have had the pleasure of meeting so far at this school. And if it wasn’t for Mr. Charles I probably would not have enrolled at the school , so shout out to him as well. Mr Charles worked really hard to convince me that this was an important next step for me and my child, and I’m so grateful for that as well.

If I could give this school more than five stars I would! Northwest Career College is truly an amazing place full of opportunities to learn and grow as an individual. During my time here, I’ve learned so much from the incredible instructors who genuinely care about their students’ success and well-being.

One thing that really stands out is how supportive the school is. They provide many helpful resources for students through their website, including assistance with transportation, food resources, clothing, and more. It shows how much they truly want their students to succeed both in and outside of the classroom.

I cannot speak for the quality of instruction. If I leave reviews it’s mainly so a school can improve what they are doing in hopes that someone hears what I have to say, & hopefully it plants a seed of change in there head.
I spoke with admissions to talk about there process since I’ve spoken to a couple of different colleges . The lady told me , that I first have to get accepted and pay the $100 and then I can talk to fafsa (dead skull
Emoji.) I don’t think it’s okay to do that ? It should be the opposite ? Because what if the student doesn’t like certain payment plans with this college but they like the plans with another college ? why collect money first , have them go through testing, pay a fee , first , & then speak with FAFSA ? It’s time & literal money that students are giving up . It’s the students that make the school run , not the other way around. students should be able to speak with fafsa even without making a payment. Right after I said, how I felt about the process, the lady hung up. I think her name was Judy . I thought it was a little rude that the call suddenly dropped after saying how I felt? I know that the school sees us as a walking ATM, but atleast act like you care. End the call with some like, “we’ll be here if you change your mind.” They want to do interviews over here to see a students integrity, how about you test the integrity of the admissions team before you test students. We are not just walking ATM’s.

From the first message I got a call back from Tyler he was full on energy. When I went in I spoke with Maria because Tyler was on Lunch and from that day I had a meeting with Quinton he was awesome then financial Aid was Scott a true cool dude. That was the beginning. I cam across some hardship deaths and I lost my charger MY instructor has been amazing all the way and she said go get a loaner charger. I was behing 1 week of class and the week I went up there would be the start of a new week amd Maria gifted me a charger. So I had to do a review. I’m currently in the dental assistant program and just started the second term. So far, everything has been going great and I’ve really enjoyed my experience. The classes are going well, and I feel like I’m learning a lot. I appreciate the out-of-class assignments because they give me time to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule. It works well with my personal life because I can pick up my laptop anytime to study or get schoolwork done when it fits my schedule. I also like that the course is accelerated, which helps me move forward faster. The teachers have been good and supportive, and overall it’s been a really positive experience. I would recommend this school and any of the programs they offer to anyone looking to learn and build their skills.

I'm currently in the map program that is for Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy. I'm currently enjoying both classes until I found out that in our MA class we were told that we weren't going to be able to continue with our teacher Mrs. Haidy. I really don't like the fact that they change teachers because we've already established our learning style with the teaching style of our initial teacher. I honestly feel like changing teachers halfway through our courses will definitely make me feel like I'm going to miss something or what if the new teacher just doesn't follow the curriculum that we've already established. I'm not wanting anything to jeopardize my schooling, especially since this is something we are paying for.

If it were up to me I would like to finish my second part courses with my current teacher Mrs. Haidy. She's literally the best and she has answers to all of our questions, she stays on task even when we get off topic at times, her information is clear and understanding.

I will update my review once my classes finish.

All of the staff are amazing! From the time you walk in the front door, they all make you feel so welcome! Isiah is awesome! He makes onboarding a breeze! Tim in Financial Aid is the best! I’m the boyfriend of a current student, I had hopes to further my education and add growth to my trade had my interest in the HVAC program and seeing what she’s gone through made me decide not to enroll here. Allow me to describe the nightmare of a school this is.
This school thrives on stress and anxiety while offering almost no real support. Once they take your money, they stop caring—especially about students who genuinely want to learn and succeed. There is zero respect for work-life balance, and burnout is treated as normal.
Save your money and your mental health. Look elsewhere. The staff absolutely does not care about you, they will not listen to you or try to understand you they believe they are superior and assume every student has the same academic proficiency this place is full of corrupt staff. School work balance is important as adults, we have lives to survive. As long as this school is getting its money they could care less of your well being and mental state or the stress they cause you something must be done about these matters. You guys need to re evaluate your teachers and deans!!!!

I am currently in pharmacy and am in the last 3 months of my program. I have faced trial after trial being in this program, I got very sick and am undergoing a lot of appointments and procedures coming up. Even with all of this they had ways and accommodations for me to succeed. I am also a young parent so they did have full understanding of me being a mom, working, and trying to manage my health and schooling. A huge shoutout to Ms. Marjorie because if there was something we couldn’t understand she has displayed all learning strategies for us to best understand. I recommend for all the new students to watch what you sign up for. Super expensive school where i played almost 40k for an associates degree with teachers that don’t even really care and are only there for a paycheck. Make sure what you realize what you sign for when you sign up as it could come and mess with you in the future the way they did so unprofessionally with me.

My experience thus far initially at Northwest Career College was mixed. However, plenty of accommodations were made to help me and my fellow peers feel more successful and secure in our pursuit of our certification and degree. While I would prefer having more than one lecture on a weekly basis, the staff and instructors go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals.

As a disabled military veteran, I am grateful for the utmost support from Tim of financial aid at Northwest career college here in Nevada. I am used to getting brushed off, overlooked, and sidelined by most average people while still being subjected to the laborious halfhearted “thank you for your service “ statements. Tim goes the extra mile and makes things personal by stepping into the spotlight and getting his hands dirty when it comes to getting potential clients added to the fold. If you are in need of assistance that gets you through the tough parts of the admissions process I would strongly recommend asking for Tim by name! Doing his job with passion is an understatement. Needless to say, I am now a thriving pharmacy technician student putting my same military mindset and gusto to use once again as I again strive to protect and serve my fellow Americans. When touring the campus, I immediately recognized the school's quality. The faculty showed the hands-on learning opportunities and specialized materials while taking a genuine interest in my professional goals.
Although I was initially hesitant to commit, the school offers a two-week trial period at no cost. This allowed me to experience the coursework and lectures firsthand, and I was very impressed. I have since decided to officially enroll and am eager to see what the future holds!

I really enjoy my experience at NCC! The instructors are knowledgable and very supportive, and i feel like they genuinely care about students success. The classes are engaging and provide opportunities to learn both in theory and in practical ways. One thing i think can be improved is adding more hands on workshops or group activities to help us practice skills in real world scenarios. From the beginning to the first day of school , it was a great experience! They answered all of my question and was very patient with me! NCC has been very good to me I cannot complain at all. From the instructors to my class mates it has been an amazing experience at NCC I am currently enrolled in Map program that includes Ma and Phlebotomy. So far it has been a great experience the help is right there if you need it! My Instructors are the best they give they all and teach you everything they know and teach you by the book. They are real and caring! NCC I have made my family it feel like home here. My fav instructors so far has been Ms. Jerri (phlebotomy instructor). She is awesome!!And super patient! 😭 The only issue I have about the school is our last day of class was Wed. But we have to wait until MAY to walk the stage. We all was so disappointed to hear that. Some people are moving to another state before then. This just is not fair.
My experience at Northwest Career College has been wonderful. I'm currently taking Phlebotomy in the evening, and my instructor, Mr. Michael B., is truly great. He is very patient with us students and always does his best to make sure we understand each module.

The staff is really helpful, and friendly. Everything is accessible from the locations to even the necessary info online. I personally would want to make a shout-out to my professors Ms. Stephanie Stevens, Ms. Akame Nanashi, and Ms. Tanya Sprang. They are all so encouraging and caring, and wanting to see their students succeed. That seems to be the case with every program at NCC. They are not going to give up on you, they are going to push and cheer you on to finish. I encourage anyone who is wanting to change careers or is coming fresh out of highschool, do NCC. ⭐ 1 Star - Disappointing Externship Placement and Career Services

Up until the externship, my experience at NCC was great. The instructors are passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about teaching. I truly learned a lot and felt proud to be part of the program.

Unfortunately, the externship experience was the complete opposite. The school prides itself on helping students with placement, but it is clear they do not properly evaluate or monitor the sites. I was placed in a facility where there was no opportunity to apply the skills I learned, no vitals, no patient interaction, and no real medical training. The staff were not trained to guide or teach, and most of my time was spent doing mindless tasks or simply sitting idle.

When I raised my concerns, instead of addressing the issue, career services categorized it as a personal reason. It is disappointing that they cannot tell the difference between a student’s personal issue and a poor site placement. I first asked if I could do another part-time externship to gain more experience and was told no. I then volunteered to find my own site but was told no again because of policy. Policies are meant to ensure accountability, but the school should also know when to be flexible and work with students when the placement clearly is not serving its educational purpose.

To make matters worse, I was told I would still receive an F for trying to seek a more appropriate learning environment. That response was discouraging and unprofessional, especially after investing time, money, and effort into this program.

The externship should have been the highlight of my experience, not the most disappointing part. NCC has incredible instructors who genuinely care, but the career services department needs serious improvement in communication, flexibility, and accountability.

I loved northwest career college. I’m currently in my externship but I just wanted to shed some light on a few instructors that got me here , Ms.Jenn, Mrs.Hazel & Mrs.Denise. I feel like they’re not talked about enough with this school. The reason I only gave 4 stars though is because now that I am in extenship that means I have to deal with career services. I do not particularly like Donna at all. She’s rude and anytime I contact her it’s “out of her control” and she “can’t do anything on her end”. I’m just confused on what her role actually is and what she CAN help me with. Shoutout to Tina from career services though.

The instructors at the school have been great, and I truly enjoyed both the Phlebotomy and Medical Assisting programs. However, I’ve had ongoing issues with job placement and the Radiography program process. I’ve received repeated messages from numerous people regarding job placement asking for the same information, but nothing has moved forward. I was even told they were closing my file because it was confirmed. I started working somewhere that I didn't.
I’ve also been actively trying to get into the Radiography program for awhile and even completed both programs to which would increase my alumni points, which ended up not being added when they should've been, now I've been told my application was archived for “inactivity.” It’s very frustrating and disappointing after all the effort I’ve put in. At this point, I’m considering continuing the Radiography program elsewhere due to the lack of communication and progress.

I went to this trade school to get my pharmacy license. The program did teach me a lot and helped me feel more confident going into the field, but honestly, I could’ve gotten the same experience through on-the-job training. The biggest issue I have is with how the financial side was handled. When I signed up, no one explained that I was taking out a loan or what that really meant. After graduating, I found myself in a lot of debt way more than I expected and the total amount ended up being almost double what I thought I’d be paying after financial aid. It’s frustrating because I would’ve made a different choice if I’d known the real costs upfront.
If you’re considering this school, make sure they explain everything to you clearly especially the financial part before you sign anything.

I have not even started yet, and my experience has been the best ever. As a person who has been to school multiple times, this has been the best experience I have had. Starting with me calling to get info about the school to then being set up on a virtual tour and meet with Isaiah. He was awesome and gave me all the details about the program. Set me up with financial aid with Ms.
Donella Stanard. With this being the first time on campus, my meeting with her was amazing. She was professional, gave me all the information I need and assisted me with so much. She was so loving and so fun to talk to. Laughter would not stop. We hugged along with a one of my family members who was with me. We did not want to leave. The best financial aid appointment I ever had. Isaiah than gave a tour of the campus. Beautiful. Everything is so well organized from staff, to classes. I am very excited to start due to the staff and team alone. School meets all my needs, and I know this will be an amazing experience.

In our role managing the association, We’ve seen how engaged, responsive, and solutions-oriented they are. They do hold a majority of seats, yet they’re consistently conscientious about including the other board member in discussions and decisions. Meetings are efficient, feedback is thoughtful, and actions are timely—always advancing the association’s goals while respecting vendors, neighbors, and community standards. While we can’t speak to the school’s educational services, we can say their leadership on the association board sets a high bar for collaboration and good governance. While I gained valuable hands-on training and knowledge through the program, I’ve faced challenges securing employment since graduation. I’ve continued applying and interviewing for positions, and I’ve reached out to my advisor for guidance, though communication has been limited.

Shout out to Angelin! She has created a welcoming environment before I enrolled at NCC! I love the transparency of the school, knowing how many graduates and people who worked after completing the program. (Which was an astounding 100%) She has made the enrolling process a lot smoother and stress free, replying to messages and calls ASAP, answering questions with patience and kindness, as well as guiding me through the forms that needed to be completed. She wasnt in a rush to get me in to "meet quotas" unlike some trade schools in the city, but instead gave me the choice to enroll in my own time and give me the ability to change my program even after two weeks of instruction. I am entrolled here at NCC currently as a medical assistant and phlebotomy and my experience has been nice and Welcoming so far everyone has been helpful. I do think the classes are challenging and its been lot of work not as flexible as I would like it because I have 5 children and Im not excited about the canvas but me personally I prefer paper like the good old days but other then that I guess its been okay so far I have a good instructor and has helped me out and my class mates have been cool have not had any problems it is a really good school if you are looking to get into the medical field over all.

For me, NCC is the best college in Nevada. I've had my best moments at this institution. The professors are excellent people and, above all, dedicated to your improvement. I'm Latina, and although my English has improved a lot, I feel it's still not perfect. They take their time to help me and explain everything step by step. They give me the encouragement and strength I need to keep going. So, Latinas, if you want to study and excel and be someone tomorrow, don't hesitate for a second. NCC is the best place. I have never been to college. I visited the campus to get an idea of the programs and how things work. I ended up enrolling the same day and started class the following Monday. The instructors are so polite and real they do care. They are here for you. I am now entering my externship by the end of this month and I am in shock at how much my life my mindset and demeanor have changed since joining NCC. Northwest Career College is an outstanding school. You are treated with kindness and respect literally from the moment that you walk in through their doors. This is my second time attending NCC as I am a returning student. Once I figured out that I was ready to go back to school and start a new program, I knew without a doubt that I'd be spending my time back where it all began. The instructors are exceptionally wonderful, the admin team is very welcoming, the finance department is phenomenal, and the academic advisors are very professional. I've been going to the Sahara location for 3 months for pharmacy technician. Everyone has been so helpful and my instructors have been amazing. I've learned so much and am excited for the rest of my terms to learn even more. Getting started was very easy and they even help out with bus passes every term which has been a big help.

I 100% recommend this school! I like how they contact you as soon as you submit the information form! The staff are very straightforward and informational! Ms. Angelin was friendly and helpful. When I had a question about switching programs, I messaged her and I got a response right away! The financial aid officer/advisor, Mr. Scott Atkins, he explained everything clearly and helped me understand how financial aid works! My experience in this college through this college has been phenomenal!
I was studying to be a medical assistant at the main campus.
The people that I met during admissions were very nice, one of whom was Scott A., who helped me a lot in clearing up a lot of things.
Overall, my instructors and classmates all have been amazing and very helpful and supportive.
I have learned many things at this college, and enjoyed the fellowship of my classmates and instructors.

I would highly NOT recommend going to NCC for phlebotomy. First off, the phleb cert you get is from NHA, which most large labs will not accept (Quest for example). I only did the program here because the timing didn’t work out for me to take it at CSN. I should have just waited until the following year and saved myself a TON of money. I haven’t even gotten a single call back from the dozens of places I’ve applied to since graduating. NCC has also not been at all helpful with the job search either. It might be beneficial to do the MA/phleb program, but just for phlebotomy..find another school.

This is my first year attending college at North west career college, I just enrolled into the MA program for this year. From the first day I toured & did orientation all the staff made me feel welcomed ! Charles AKA Chuck (Operations Manager) at the ELV campus made my experience a breeze ! From my instructors (Ms. Alexys, Mosetta,Cheryl & Cas) to my fellow classmates (Night classes) all makes my experience here at Northwest Career college memorable & fun yet educating! The only thing I wish is being able to attend school more than just one day out of the week! That’s how much I enjoy attending school! So far I have 3 people that are looking into attending North west career college! A friend of mine that I used to work with (Maria Valdez) recommended the MA program & when doing a tour, I also did orientation the same day, started class the same week! I am 52year old military retiree and I can honestly say I been through several trade schools here in the Valley. From HVAC at NTI; Auto Tech at ATI and have visited numerous other trade schools in the city. Northwest Career College is in a class of its own.

My was thrown back by amount of staff you meet at the school; from the Admission Staff- Angelin Orozco (she is awesome) to my teacher Ms Tehran’s, I must of met 30 folks leading me through the process.

I had an appointment for a massage at 1 pm.. When I showed up at 12:50 pm because the parking was difficult to find. They said the student, Terence Washington-Haislip, never showed up. The school onboarding process was so simple and easy. The staff members have been absolutely amazing!! Everyone is so kind and uplifting. The classes are interactive and fun and so are the lessons. I'm in the DAA program and its so much more fun than I ever would have thought. If you are thinking about joining this school, I would highly recommend it!!

Graduated from MAP last year. So far so good, I had a pretty good experience in school. I wish the radiology program actually wanted MAP students like they say. Most MAP students would work 9-5 and they don’t have any sort of night classes so it’s just a contradiction. They really don’t want MAP students😐
